Discover Corsica in a Van Aménagé
The Van is the best way to discover Corsica. Take your time to discover every corner of Corsica in a Van Aménagé.
The roads are perfect for a Road-Trip road-trip. The distances in KMS are short, but the time to cover them is long, and you’ll have plenty of time to admire the grandiose landscapes between sea and mountains.
Nature lovers are in for a treat. There’s no shortage of hiking trails in the mountains or along the coast, and for the more experienced, the stages of the GR20 will delight you.
For overnight stays in Van Aménagéit’s possible to find good, quiet places to sleep. Be careful, however, not to settle in for several days, and make sure you can spend the night there without disturbing anyone.
In high season (July-August), campsites and specialized overnight facilities are the preferred choice. Wild camping is highly regulated in Corsica, particularly because of forest fires.
For those on a smaller budget and for a more authentic experience, we recommend a visit to a local farm. The Corsicans will welcome you with open arms and help you discover their culture. And for those with a sweet tooth, you’ll be able to sample typical Corsican dishes and specialities!
Travelling in Corsica with a Van Aménagé is a discovery of every moment. There’s no minimum or maximum number of days on the road. A few days are enough to get away from it all, or a road-trip of one or more weeks to discover every corner of the island.
Allow a good week to cover northern Corsica from Bastia to Porto via the Cap-Corse and Balagne.
You should also allow around 7 days for the south of Corsica, fromAjaccio to Bonifacio to Solenzara, via the incredible Aiguilles de Bavella.
Corsica in a Van is THE way to discover the island in complete freedom, taking your time and discovering its culture and inhabitants.
