How to get around Corsica?

The Corsican train, also known as the“Micheline“, is the best way to travel between the towns of Bastia, Calvi and Ajaccio. It’s also the most economical means of transport (count around 20 euros for a Bastia-Ajaccio journey of around 3h50). Yes, the train isn’t very fast, but the journey itself is an attraction. Thegrandiose landscapes it offers can only be enjoyed aboard the carriages, particularly on the Bastia-Ajaccio line, which crosses Corsica via the Col de Vizzavona. The train changes at Ponte-Leccia if Calvi is your destination or departure town.
